SoundSaga is inspiring a new generation of storytellers. Let your imagination run wild as you tell your tales and hear them come to life through sound.
How it works:
SoundSaga uses Artificial Intelligence to enhance the storytelling experience. Once you choose a theme and start telling a story, SoundSaga will build a multilayered soundscape of sound effects and background ambiances to complement your story.
SoundSaga combines the wonder and intimacy of traditional storytelling with the heightened sense of drama that a dynamically evolving soundscape can provide. It can also add new excitement to story time while reading your favorite children’s books, and help younger children discover new vocabulary in a fun and engaging way.
Features:
- Choose from 3 story themes: Jungle Adventure, Fairy Tale, Haunted Mystery
- Multilayered background soundscapes unique to each theme
- Over 300 sound effects, including animal noises, actions, moods and more
Why we built this app:
Storytelling is the oldest and most essential form of creativity. But today, we let our kids spend about 32 hours a week passively watching content, and most scientists agree that its gradually reducing their creativity during their most formative years.
As a marketing agency that prides itself in nurturing our professional storytelling talent, Havas decided to go one step further and build an experience that encourages younger children’s’ creativity too.
What’s next:
We see SoundSaga as the first step in a radically new kind of creative experience—one that uses technology to enhance rather than replace the simple delights of traditional storytelling.
The app you’re about to download is a minimum viable product (MVP). We will soon be exploring additional features like automatic theme detection, real-time lighting effects via connected home lighting systems and the ability to add supporting characters powered entirely by AI.
We hope you’ll like the app and see its potential. We’d love to get your feedback on how we can improve the experience or other creative uses we may not have thought of.
